Florida E.N.T. & Allergy will be hosting a voice and hearing screening event on Saturday, May 14 in honor of Better Hearing and Speech Month. The event will be held at 3000 Medical Park Drive, suite 200 in Tampa from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m., with screenings available by appointment only.

The screenings will be performed by Fellowship-Trained Laryngologist Daniel Vincent, M.D., certified audiologists, and certified speech pathologists. These screenings are free of charge and food and refreshments will be provided.

In addition to the screenings, the physicians will be hosting educational lectures on voice and hearing health, allergies and sinuses.

Voice and hearing health is critical to effective communication. Over 48 million Americans have significant hearing loss, yet only 16 percent of physicians routinely screen for hearing loss. Similarly, approximately 7.5 million Americans have trouble using their voice. The doctors at Florida E.N.T. & Allergy are skilled at diagnosing and treating voice and hearing disorders.

“We are very excited to provide access to these crucial screenings to people in our community, said Dr. Vincent. “Florida E.N.T. & Allergy is dedicated to the education and management of voice and hearing disorders, and we look forward to sharing our knowledge with the community.”
